Episode 108 – Disturbing Flicks

Jim and Garrett talk about IGN’s 15 most disturbing films list.  We discuss torture porn, animal cruelty, exploitation and things that just make us a shiver in the night.

Garrett talks about the 2010 Melissa Joan Hart film “Nine Dead,” and Jim chats a little about how “Hunger Games” is not awful, but Jennifer Lawrence does her best to steal the show.

    Dan Zukovic’s “DARK ARC”, a bizarreand disturbing modern noir dark comedy called “Absolutely brilliant…truly and completely different…” in Film Threat, was recently released on DVD and Netflix through Vanguard Cinema (http://www.vanguardcinema.com/darkarc/darkarc.htm), and is currently
    debuting on Cable Video On Demand. The film had it’s World Premiere at the Montreal Festival, and it’s US Premiere at the Cinequest Film Festival.
